Ben Simmons is expected to start for the Sacramento Kings when they open their regular season on October 21, according to Marc J. Spears of Andscape. The 30-year-old guard signed with Sacramento on September 7 after a 18-month absence from the NBA, during which he spent time working as a professional fisherman.
Simmons played nine minutes in his preseason debut and plans to ramp up his playing time to 18 and 27 minutes across two games this week. His return to professional basketball and career journey will also be featured in the upcoming ESPN documentary "Being Ben."
