The New York Knicks fell to 0-4 in preseason action after suffering a 148-98 blowout loss to the Toronto Raptors on Tuesday. Playing on the second night of a back-to-back, head coach Mike Brown rested starters Jalen Brunson, Josh Hart, OG Anunoby, Mikal Bridges, and Karl-Anthony Towns, relying entirely on his bench unit. The Knicks struggled offensively, converting just 40 percent of their field goals and 17 percent of their three-pointers.
James Wiseman led New York with an 18-point, 10-rebound double-double, while Mohamed Diawara added 13 points. Toronto fielded its starters, led by Kawhi Leonard, who scored a game-high 21 points in the first half during his Raptors return. Former Knicks RJ Barrett and Immanuel Quickley contributed 17 and eight points, respectively. The teams will conclude preseason play against each other at Madison Square Garden on Thursday.
