The Lakers are about to get a boost of athleticism.

Los Angeles Lakers forward Adou Thiero could make his season debut against the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday after being removed from the injury report. The second-year forward had been sidelined since the preseason due to swelling in his left knee, which is the same knee he underwent surgery on in the spring of 2025.
Thiero practiced Wednesday with the G League affiliate Coachella Valley Lakers before being recalled on Thursday. Meanwhile, Sandro Mamukelashvili is listed as questionable with an illness, and both Bronny James and Cameron Carr will play on assignment in the G League opener.
