Kobe Bryant Gold Prizm card reportedly sold for $1.11 million through Alt, marking a staggering jump from the price of another BGS 9.5 example in 2022.

A rare 2012-13 Panini Prizm Gold Kobe Bryant card sold for $1.11 million during an auction by trading card marketplace Alt on October 8. Numbered to just 10 copies and graded BGS Gem Mint 9.5, the sale represents a major increase over an identical card that sold for $156,000 via Goldin in August 2022.
The transaction marks a rare seven-figure price for a modern card that is neither a rookie issue nor an autograph. The 2012-13 set introduced Panini Prizm Basketball, and Bryant's collectibles continue to command premium prices across the sports card market.
