Keaton Wagler had an extremely impressive debut for the Clippers, and it highlighted why the front office drafted him over the summer.

Rookie Keaton Wagler delivered a standout performance in his NBA debut as the LA Clippers defeated the Sacramento Kings by 25 points. Selected fifth overall in the 2026 NBA Draft, the 19-year-old guard recorded 15 points, five rebounds, five assists, two steals, and just one turnover. He shot 4-for-8 from the field, including 3-for-6 from three-point range.
Writer Iliyan Lakhani notes that Wagler provided a vital spark off the bench while Brandon Ingram recovers from a partially torn Achilles. With Darius Garland needing playmaking support, Wagler finished third on the team in scoring and tied for second in assists, demonstrating poise against Sacramento's physical defense.
