Lakers analyst Jovan Buha rips Kevon Looney after four straight DNPs and questions whether trading Deandre Ayton was a mistake.

Lakers analyst Jovan Buha strongly criticized Kevon Looney's athleticism and claimed newly signed two-way center Lawson Lovering is already a better option. Looney received his fourth consecutive DNP from head coach JJ Redick during Monday's 138-117 victory over the Miami Heat, while Lovering saw brief mop-up action in the final minutes.
Buha argued that Looney falls below the baseline athleticism required for playable NBA centers. He also labeled the backup center position behind starter Walker Kessler as the team's primary roster flaw, questioning the front office's offseason decision to trade Deandre Ayton to the Washington Wizards.
