Matisse Thybulle's changes have yielded positive results.

Los Angeles Lakers wing Matisse Thybulle revealed details about his revamped shooting mechanics and unorthodox pregame routine. The eighth-year player, who previously lacked confidence in his shot, restructured his form while rehabbing knee and ankle injuries with Trail Blazers shooting coach John Townsend during the 2024-25 season.
Thybulle adjusted his shooting arm position, tucked in his elbow, and incorporated one-handed and "no-dip" 3-pointers into his pregame warmup. The mechanical overhaul has produced notable results, with Thybulle entering Tuesday's game shooting 46.7% from beyond the arc across his early tenure with the Lakers.
