Dalton Knecht's Lakers exit takes another turn as four NBA teams reportedly show interest in the former first-round pick.

Dalton Knecht has drawn interest from four NBA franchises after being waived by the Los Angeles Lakers. The New York Knicks, Minnesota Timberwolves, Sacramento Kings, and Toronto Raptors have emerged as potential landing spots for the 25-year-old wing, who cleared waivers on Wednesday and is eligible to sign as a free agent or on a two-way deal.
The Lakers released their 2024 first-round pick to finalize their 15-man roster after failed trade negotiations, including talks with Milwaukee. Knecht saw his playing time decrease to 4.2 points per game under head coach JJ Redick last season, but several teams are now evaluating him as a low-risk perimeter scoring option.
