Luka Dončić continues to etch his name in the Lakers history books.

Luka Dončić matched a Los Angeles Lakers franchise milestone previously achieved by Kobe Bryant during a 138-117 win against the Miami Heat on Monday. Dončić scored 24 first-half points, becoming the first Lakers player since Bryant in 2007 to score at least 20 points in the first half across five consecutive games. The victory moved Los Angeles to a 6-2 record on the season.
Dončić finished the contest with 42 points, 13 assists, and seven rebounds. The performance followed another recent milestone on Friday against the Golden State Warriors, where he joined Bryant as the only Lakers players since 2000 to record at least 10 20-point quarters.
