Luka Doncic has turned the ball over at a shocking rate through the first two games of the Los Angeles Lakers' season.

Colin Keane writes that despite opening the season 2-0, the Los Angeles Lakers are dealing with an alarming turnover issue. Luka Doncic committed a career-high 11 turnovers in a victory over the Los Angeles Clippers, contributing to 21 total team giveaways. Head coach JJ Redick and Doncic both acknowledged the problem, with Doncic calling his own display terrible.
Keane notes that the Lakers also committed 18 turnovers in their season-opening 127-105 win over the Golden State Warriors. The writer argues that while chemistry takes time for a newly assembled roster featuring players like Walker Kessler and Collin Sexton, averaging nearly 20 turnovers per game remains an unsustainable habit for the team.
