A huge third-quarter run from the Lakers helped overturn a woeful first half and send the Lakers to a 124-118 win over the Blazers. Luka Dončić was brilliant yet again with another scoring outburst, including 20 in that second period…

Luka Dončić scored 53 points to lead the Los Angeles Lakers to a 124-118 comeback victory over the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday. After trailing by nine points at the end of the first quarter and facing a seven-point halftime deficit, the Lakers took control behind a dominant 26-7 run to finish the third quarter.
Portland cut the deficit to four points in the final minute, but late baskets and free throws from Dončić, Austin Reaves, and Walker Kessler secured the win. Reaves contributed 25 points, while Kessler added a double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds for Los Angeles.
