Los Angeles Clippers forward Rui Hachimura has been ruled out of Wednesday's matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers due to left quad soreness. Clippers head coach Tyronn Lue confirmed that Hachimura missed Tuesday's practice after feeling soreness following Sunday's game. Kobe Sanders has been selected to replace Hachimura in the starting lineup.
Sanders enters the starting role following a 12-point performance off the bench against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Hachimura's injury disrupts a depleted Clippers offense that had been heavily leaning on him and Darius Garland amid multiple absences across the roster.
