The Lakers star center had a subpar performance against his former team.

Walker Kessler struggled in his return to Delta Center on Sunday, admitting emotions affected his play during the Los Angeles Lakers' comeback win over the Utah Jazz. The 7-foot-2 center finished with only two points and four fouls across 28 minutes. Despite Kessler's off night, the Lakers erased an 18-point deficit to defeat the Jazz, fueled by Luka Doncic's 52 points, 10 assists, and eight rebounds.
Austin Reaves added 29 points for Los Angeles, helping improve the team's record to 3-0 on the season. Kessler joined the Lakers via a sign-and-trade in July, signing a four-year, $130 million contract after spending his first four NBA seasons with Utah. The trade sent two unprotected first-round draft picks and two first-round pick swaps to the Jazz.
