No team in the NBA has ever erased a 25-point deficit by halftime or ended up winning by as much as the Warriors did over the Lakers.

The Golden State Warriors completed a historic comeback on Friday night, overcoming a 25-point deficit to defeat the Los Angeles Lakers 112-95 at Chase Center. After trailing 40-15 early in the second quarter following a 21-point first-quarter explosion by Luka Doncic, Golden State rallied behind De'Anthony Melton and Steph Curry to outscore Los Angeles 97-57 the rest of the way.
Golden State erased the entire gap by halftime to tie the score at 53-53, marking the first time in tracked NBA play-by-play history that a team overcame a 25-point first-half deficit by intermission. Curry scored 31 points to lead Golden State, while Doncic finished with a game-high 37 points for head coach JJ Redick's squad.
