Before reporting to Southern California for training camp, Doncic showcased the Jordan Luka 5 "Familia" sneaker colorway, which is inspired by his children. He also shared an emotional social media post expressing his love for them as he departs Slovenia.
The tribute follows a challenging summer during which Doncic settled a contentious custody and child support court battle with his former fiancée, Anamaria Goltes. The pair eventually reached an amicable co-parenting agreement.
