Bam Adebayo has always been a consistently great defender, but the Miami Heat need his offensive game on the same level.

Writer Alexy Berson argues that Bam Adebayo's poor offensive start has created a nightmarish beginning to the Miami Heat's new era alongside Giannis Antetokounmpo. Across Miami's opening two games, which resulted in an 0-2 start, Adebayo scored 15 points against the Minnesota Timberwolves and just four points before fouling out against the Detroit Pistons.
Berson highlights that while Antetokounmpo scored 30-plus points in both games, Adebayo has provided insufficient help as a second scoring option. The writer asserts that Adebayo must show greater offensive aggression and consistency against opposing bench units for Miami to contend for a championship.
