Contrary to what most might think, Jimmy Butler just showed he isn’t holding on to ‘resentment’ towards his former teammate. The former Miami Heat star provided a candid response regarding Bam Adebayo’s historic 83-point explosion earlier this year.
Jimmy Butler offered praise and a characteristically blunt perspective on former teammate Bam Adebayo's historic 83-point game during an appearance on SiriusXM NBA Radio. Butler called Adebayo a crazy, talented player and labeled the 83-point feat as historic, dismissing suggestions of lingering animosity following his departure from the Miami Heat.
Adebayo achieved the scoring milestone on March 10, 2026, recording the second-highest single-game total in NBA history during a 150-129 win against the Washington Wizards. Butler, currently with the Golden State Warriors, continues his recovery from a torn ACL sustained in January.
