NBA legend and 23XI Racing co-owner Michael Jordan looked on in shock as Tyler Reddick crashed during a practice session at Homestead-Miami Speedway on November 6. Entering pit road aggressively, Reddick collided with the back of Zane Smith's slowing car, resulting in significant front-end damage to the No. 45 Toyota Camry just days before the NASCAR Cup Series season finale.
Neither driver was injured in the incident, but the collision left the 23XI Racing crew facing urgent repairs ahead of Saturday's qualifying. Reddick expressed frustration over damaging what he described as his best car at the track, while Jordan acknowledged the strong practice run had suffered a sudden, unfortunate conclusion.
