Nets rookie Mikel Brown Jr. has returned to limited practice after a left ankle injury, but he is not yet cleared for contact.

The Brooklyn Nets have placed no timetable on the return of rookie point guard Mikel Brown Jr. as the team prioritizes his full recovery from an ankle injury. Brown was ruled out of the preseason opener against the Charlotte Hornets as Brooklyn takes a cautious approach with their top draft selection.
Fellow rookie Joshua Jefferson was also ruled out of the preseason contest due to a back issue. Head coach Jordi Fernandez and the Nets are focused on ensuring both rookies return to complete health ahead of the upcoming regular season.
