After struggling in the NBA Preseason, Jaime Jaquez Jr. has been excellent for the Milwaukee Bucks.

Dalton Sell writes that Jaime Jaquez Jr. has rebounded from a shaky preseason to produce a sensational regular-season start with the Milwaukee Bucks. Across his first three regular-season games as a starter, Jaquez averaged 20.7 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 3.7 assists while shooting 61.1 percent from the field.
The writer argues that the Bucks' choice not to sign Jaquez to a contract extension prior to the season is already benefiting the forward, potentially positioning him for a significant raise next summer. Sell also notes that head coach Taylor Jenkins challenged Jaquez to compete defensively to maintain his long-term value.
