The Milwaukee Bucks didn't cave to the Los Angeles Lakers' offer when discussing a Jericho Sims trade.

NBA insider Jake Fischer reported that trade discussions between the Milwaukee Bucks and Los Angeles Lakers broke down over center Jericho Sims. The Bucks reportedly sought two second-round draft picks in exchange for Sims, but the Lakers were only willing to offer one, leading Milwaukee to walk away from the deal.
Writer Dalton Sell of Behind the Buck Pass argues that Milwaukee was justified in holding firm on their asking price. Sell notes that keeping Sims provides essential center depth, while the team's subsequent release of Kevin Porter Jr. has successfully opened up rotation minutes for young guards Kasparas Jakucionis and Brayden Burries.
