The Bucks have waived Pete Nance, Johni Broome and Jake Stephens, the team announced Saturday, but still have another roster decision to make before opening night.
The Milwaukee Bucks officially waived forward Pete Nance alongside Johni Broome and Jake Stephens on Saturday as they trim their roster ahead of opening night. Nance appeared in 47 games for Milwaukee last season on a non-guaranteed contract. The franchise reportedly hopes to retain him on an open two-way contract if he successfully clears league waivers without another team claiming him.
Broome and Stephens had signed Exhibit 10 deals and are expected to join the G League's Wisconsin Herd, as is guard Marcus Garrett following his brief signing and release. Despite these cuts, the Bucks still have 16 players on standard guaranteed contracts and must waive or trade at least one player prior to Monday's official roster deadline.
