Milwaukee Bucks rookie Nate Ament is already showing signs of potential, and a polished jumper could bring it to the surface.
Writer Dalton Sell argues that Milwaukee Bucks rookie Nate Ament is exceeding expectations after coach Taylor Jenkins integrated him into the rotation. Ament has capitalized on early opportunities, pushing Ousmane Dieng out of the regular rotation. Sell believes the young forward possesses a very high ceiling if he can develop consistency with his jump shot.
Through four games, Ament is averaging 7.5 points and shooting 45.8 percent overall, despite making just 28.6 percent of his jumpers. Defensively, opposing players are shooting 31 percent against him, and he recently scored 14 points on 6-of-8 shooting against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
