Pete Nance turning down the Lakers and 76ers to return to the Milwaukee Bucks is a sign of how much he desires continuity.

Forward Pete Nance turned down two-way contract offers from the Philadelphia 76ers and Los Angeles Lakers to re-sign with the Milwaukee Bucks on a two-way deal, according to reporters Marc Stein and Jake Fischer. Nance had previously been waived by Milwaukee before opting to return.
Writer Dalton Sell argues that Nance's decision to bypass contending teams highlights his desire for continuity and long-term development in Milwaukee. Sell notes that while Nance has yet to break into the rotation under head coach Taylor Jenkins, staying prepared via the Wisconsin Herd remains crucial.
