Donte DiVincenzo will lend an ear to his teammates as he recovers. He hopes he can offer more soon.

Minnesota Timberwolves guard Donte DiVincenzo expressed unwavering confidence about returning to play during the 2026-27 NBA season as he rehabilitates a torn Achilles tendon. Approaching six months since suffering the injury in Game 4 of the first-round playoff series against the Denver Nuggets, DiVincenzo revealed he has a private target return date in mind.
DiVincenzo had surgery within 18 hours of the injury and consulted players like Jayson Tatum, Damian Lillard, and Tyrese Haliburton during his recovery. In the final year of his contract, DiVincenzo is taking on a supportive locker-room role for a younger roster under head coach Chris Finch while targeting a return to action.
