LaMelo Ball's elite playmaking can help Jaden McDaniels reach another level on offense, which will benefit the Timberwolves.

Eamon Cassels of Dunking with Wolves argues that Minnesota Timberwolves forward Jaden McDaniels is primed for an offensive leap playing alongside playmaker LaMelo Ball. In a recent preseason game against the Indiana Pacers, McDaniels scored 16 points in 21 minutes on 10 field goal attempts, with two baskets directly assisted by Ball.
Cassels writes that Ball's elite passing will generate open three-pointers, punish mismatches, and maintain McDaniels' involvement in the offense. He notes that head coach Chris Finch is designing more plays for McDaniels, who averaged 14.8 points last season, potentially making him an elite third scoring option.
