The Wolves Should Be Battling For Home-Court Advantage This Year

The Minnesota Timberwolves significantly altered their roster this offseason by trading for point guard LaMelo Ball and signing forward Jonathan Kuminga. Minnesota parted ways with Julius Randle and Naz Reid to acquire Ball following a 49-33 campaign in which they finished sixth in the Western Conference. Kuminga joined the Timberwolves on a two-year, $12.4 million contract that features a player option in the second season, stepping in as the projected starting power forward.
