The Timberwolves have not lost their home opener at the Target Center since 2015.

The Minnesota Timberwolves host the Toronto Raptors at the Target Center on Sunday, aiming to extend their winning streak in home openers to 11 consecutive games. Minnesota enters the contest 2-0 after securing road victories of over 20 points against the Miami Heat and Orlando Magic. A victory would leave them just one win short of tying the franchise-record streak of 12 consecutive home opening wins set from 1995 to 2006.
The visiting Raptors are also 2-0, following double-digit wins over the Chicago Bulls and Washington Wizards. Toronto has welcomed back Kawhi Leonard and held their first two opponents under 40 percent shooting from the field. Minnesota enters the matchup as a 1.5-point favorite according to DraftKings Sportsbook.
