The Brooklyn Nets and Cleveland Cavaliers have each made roster cuts ahead of the 2026/27 NBA regular season. On Sunday, Brooklyn waived guard Dion Brown and forward Dain Dainja from their Exhibit 10 contracts, leaving two open spots on the team's 19-man preseason roster. Both players can earn a bonus of up to $91,000 if they spend at least 60 days with the G League's Long Island Nets.
Meanwhile, the Cavaliers released guards Kadary Richmond and Curtis Jones on Friday to make room for signings Jaxson Robinson and Noam Yaacov. Following their waivers from Exhibit 10 deals, Richmond and Jones are both expected to begin the upcoming season in the G League playing for the Cleveland Charge.
