The defending champion New York Knicks host the Orlando Magic at Madison Square Garden on Sunday, October 25, 2026, as both teams search for their first victory of the season following 0-2 starts. The Knicks enter the matchup after defeats to Philadelphia and Boston, while the Magic are also winless under new head coach Sean Sweeney.
Orlando will be missing star forward Paolo Banchero due to a high ankle sprain, alongside Jonathan Isaac, Noah Penda, and Izaiyah Nelson. Meanwhile, the Knicks are managing an ankle sprain for Jose Alvarado, while seeking improved shooting from Mikal Bridges to complement leaders Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns.
