It took Jalen Brunson 1 game to silence any doubters heading into post-surgery play

New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson showed strong form in his return from off-season wrist surgery during a preseason game against the Philadelphia 76ers. Playing just 15 minutes, Brunson recorded 12 points, four rebounds, and three assists without committing a turnover, shooting 50.0 percent from the field.

Training camp invitee James Wiseman also stood out in the preseason opener, posting eight points, five rebounds, and a block in nine minutes. Wiseman, currently on an Exhibit 9 contract, is competing for a standard roster spot ahead of the October 19 deadline.
