Denver Nuggets guard Julian Strawther exited Wednesday's preseason game against the Los Angeles Clippers after sustaining a knee injury during the third quarter. Strawther fell to the floor while attempting to dribble past Isaiah Jackson and Blake Wesley, grimacing in pain and clutching his knee before being helped back to the locker room.
Strawther did not return to the game, finishing with 11 points and two rebounds across 19 minutes as the Nuggets were defeated 122-110 at Intuit Dome. The 24-year-old is entering the final season of his rookie contract, seeking a breakout fourth campaign after averaging 7.2 points per contest last year.
