The NBA preseason is set to begin and this is how all 30 teams rank.

The Big Lead published its NBA power rankings entering the 2026 preseason, ranking all 30 teams from worst to first following major offseason roster changes. The New York Knicks claimed the top spot as reigning champions after retaining most of their roster, while the San Antonio Spurs and Oklahoma City Thunder placed second and third respectively. The Memphis Grizzlies sat at the bottom at No. 30.
Several major offseason transactions reshaped the list. The Philadelphia 76ers climbed to No. 4 after acquiring Jaylen Brown and LeBron James, while the Miami Heat reached No. 10 following a trade for Giannis Antetokounmpo. Kawhi Leonard returned to the Toronto Raptors at No. 13, and Ja Morant joined the Portland Trail Blazers at No. 14.
