Oklahoma City Thunder guard Jared McCain made his presence felt at the 2026–27 NBA Media Day, showcasing his signature enthusiasm alongside his best friend and videographer, Nate Thai.
Oklahoma City Thunder guard Jared McCain and his videographer Nate Thai announced a partnership with dating app Hinge at NBA Media Day. The collaboration supports Hinge's "How We Friend" campaign, an initiative created to address the rising male loneliness epidemic among Gen Z adults. Both McCain and Thai emphasized the importance of fostering vulnerability and humor within male friendships as young people navigate life after leaving traditional school settings.
Following the announcement, McCain joined Thunder training camp ahead of the 2026-27 season, having joined OKC from Philadelphia the previous season. The third-year guard earned praise from teammate Chet Holmgren for his dedication and was seen putting in extended post-practice drills alongside MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
