Sources are indicating the stand off between Cason Wallace and the OKC Thunder may soon be coming to an end.

The Oklahoma City Thunder may soon reach an agreement on a contract extension with guard Cason Wallace, according to NBA insider Marc Stein. Wallace is viewed as a prime candidate among his extension-eligible 2023 draft classmates to finalize a deal, with an official deadline set for October 19.
Wallace is also contending with Ajay Mitchell for the team's starting shooting guard spot. Thunder head coach Mark Daigneault announced that Wallace and other core players will sit out the preseason opener against the New Orleans Pelicans, giving Mitchell an early starting opportunity.
