The OKC Thunder are hoping they can be the team to finally unlock the upside of Ochai Agbaji.

The Oklahoma City Thunder intend to sign free agent wing Ochai Agbaji to fill their 15th and final roster spot, according to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype. Thunder executive Sam Presti made the move amid roster depth concerns following recent injuries to Jalen Williams and Cason Wallace. Agbaji brings length and defensive upside that fits OKC's system.
The 26-year-old former lottery pick entered unrestricted free agency after the Brooklyn Nets declined his qualifying offer, followed by a brief training camp stint with the New York Knicks. Thunderous Intentions writer Mark Nilon views the free agent addition as a budgeted, low-risk swing that could provide solid wing depth.
