The NBA world was surprised after OKC Thunder star Chet Holmgren underwent treatment on Friday, ruling him out for at least 10 weeks.

Oklahoma City Thunder center Chet Holmgren underwent successful treatment on Friday for a small patellar tendon tear, ruling him out for at least 10 weeks. According to ESPN's Shams Charania, the surgery was successful and Holmgren is expected to make a full recovery. Holmgren had averaged 12.0 points, 9.3 rebounds, and 3.0 blocks through the first three games of the season.
Holmgren joins teammates Jalen Williams and Cason Wallace on the sidelines after both recently had surgery for severe injuries. Williams suffered a fractured fibula and dislocated ankle, while Wallace is recovering from a torn shoulder labrum. In response to the growing injury list, the Thunder signed guard Ochai Agbaji on Friday.
