Alex Morales does not pop on a box score. But he gives the Orlando Magic something they need and like from a two-way player. It makes him a great fit for the role.
Orlando Magic Daily argues that Alex Morales' relentless effort and offensive rebounding make him an ideal two-way contributor for the Orlando Magic. In Orlando's preseason opener against the Memphis Grizzlies, Morales recorded 10 total rebounds, including five offensive boards, along with four points to help seal a late victory.
Coach Sean Sweeney praised Morales for doing the "dirty work" and making winning plays that do not always show up on stat sheets. Writer Philip Rossman-Reich highlights that Morales aims to replicate the energetic, defense-first path previously set by Magic two-way players like Trevelin Queen and Jamal Cain.
