Desmond Bane entered last season trying to find his fit with an established starting lineup. This year that comfort is already built in with his Orlando Magic teammates.

Desmond Bane enters his second season with the Orlando Magic feeling significantly more comfortable following an adjustment period last year. Despite working with a new coaching staff, Bane highlighted that existing chemistry with core teammates Paolo Banchero, Jalen Suggs, and Franz Wagner makes the transition much smoother heading into the new season.
After a slow start over his first 11 games last season, Bane averaged 20.9 points per game and shot 40.5 percent from 3-point range over the final 71 contests. Teammates and coaches praised Bane's veteran leadership, noting he hosted offseason group workouts near Dallas to build team cohesion.
