The Orlando Magic got frustrated and collapsed as the Minnesota Timberwolves thrived in a grind-it-out game the Magic are supposed to win.

The Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the Orlando Magic 115-93 at the Kia Center on Friday night. Minnesota dominated the game through aggressive play and physical hustle, pulling down 21 offensive rebounds and outscoring Orlando with 54 points in the paint. Anthony Edwards posted 15 points, while LaMelo Ball added 14 points and nine assists to guide the Timberwolves to a comfortable victory.
Orlando struggled mightily with their perimeter shooting, converting just 8 of 39 attempts from 3-point range. Paolo Banchero contributed 14 points before exiting in the third quarter with a sore right ankle, while Franz Wagner led the Magic with 18 points. Orlando Magic Daily notes the team is still adjusting to a new system under coach Sean Sweeney.
