The Orlando Magic are undermanned and missing two key players. But their lack of on-ball creation and driving are one of the big, well-known weaknesses doging the Magic.

Philip Rossman-Reich of Orlando Magic Daily argues that the Orlando Magic's 129-99 blowout loss to the Toronto Raptors exposed Orlando's critical lack of ball-handling and playmaking depth. Playing without injured contributors Paolo Banchero and Jalen Suggs, the Magic struggled against Toronto's high-pressure defense, committing 20 total turnovers in the defeat.
The writer notes that Orlando relied heavily on Franz Wagner, who committed seven first-half turnovers while struggling to penetrate Toronto's defense. With Anthony Black also committing four turnovers and Desmond Bane shooting just 3-for-14, Rossman-Reich concludes that failing to address the point guard position remains Orlando's biggest barrier to title contention.
