Pelicans, Bey agree on 3-year, $55.5M extension

New Orleans Pelicans forward Saddiq Bey has agreed to a three-year, $55.5 million contract extension with the franchise, according to his agents James Dunleavy and Jordan Gertler. The fully guaranteed deal runs through the 2029-30 season and includes a trade kicker.

Bey earned the extension after a strong bounce-back season with New Orleans, averaging a career-high 17.7 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game. He previously missed the 2024-25 season due to a torn ACL suffered while playing for the Atlanta Hawks.
