Philadelphia 76ers forward Dean Wade suffered a minor injury scare against the Celtics.

Philadelphia 76ers forward Dean Wade suffered a rolled ankle during the first half of the preseason finale against the Boston Celtics. Head coach Nick Nurse told reporters after the game that Wade's absence was not a major concern, as the team chose to hold him out for precautionary reasons during the exhibition contest.
Wade's minor ankle issue is the team's primary new concern heading into the regular season opener against the New York Knicks. Expected to play a key bench role behind LeBron James and Joel Embiid, Wade averaged 3.5 points and 3.0 rebounds per game across the preseason.
