Clippers will cut ties with former 76ers prospect Johni Broome

The Los Angeles Clippers are planning to waive center Johni Broome ahead of training camp, according to NBA insider Jake Fischer. If Broome clears waivers over the next two days, the former Philadelphia 76ers draft pick will enter the open market as a free agent.

Broome was selected by Philadelphia with the 35th overall pick in the second round of the 2025 NBA Draft. During his rookie season, he was limited to 11 appearances for the 76ers behind Joel Embiid, Andre Drummond, and Adem Bona.
