Philadelphia 76ers forward Dean Wade is still working his way back for the team.

Philadelphia 76ers forward Dean Wade was ruled out against the Cleveland Cavaliers as he continues recovering from an ankle injury. Wade suffered the injury during the preseason finale against the Boston Celtics and was listed as questionable before being sidelined for consecutive regular-season games. Despite missing the contest, he participated in light work during morning shootaround and pregame warm-ups.
Head coach Nick Nurse indicated that Wade was considered for game action against Cleveland. The article reports that the 76ers expect Wade to serve as a primary backup at power forward behind LeBron James while also providing depth at center behind Joel Embiid once fully healthy.
