Former New York Knicks assistant coach and player development specialist Daisuke "Dice" Yoshimoto has joined the Philadelphia 76ers coaching staff. Yoshimoto will serve as an assistant coach and head video coordinator under head coach Nick Nurse ahead of the 2026–27 NBA season. The move adds over a decade of league experience to a Philadelphia team centered around LeBron James, Jaylen Brown, Joel Embiid, and Tyrese Maxey.
Yoshimoto previously worked alongside Tom Thibodeau with the Chicago Bulls, Minnesota Timberwolves, and Knicks before spending the 2025–26 season in the NBA G League with the Grand Rapids Gold. In his new role with the 76ers, his primary responsibilities will focus on opponent scouting, performance analysis, game planning, and individual player development.
