Jaylen Brown was roasted by NBA fans after falling for a stopwatch prank orchestrated by the Philadelphia 76ers. Players were challenged to stop a timer at exactly three seconds, only to be shown a pre-saved screenshot displaying that exact time. Before realizing he had been tricked, Brown celebrated and attributed his apparent success to timing and a "divine thing," prompting amused reactions across social media.
The 29-year-old forward joined the 76ers alongside LeBron James ahead of the 2026-27 season following a trade from the Boston Celtics for Paul George and four draft picks. Coming off a season where he averaged 28.7 points and finished sixth in MVP voting, Brown has overcome the initial shock of the move and aims to lead Philadelphia to a championship.
