LeBron James debunks NBA commentator’s rumours about Joel Embiid’s practice issues

LeBron James refuted claims made by NBA commentator Mike Breen regarding an alleged confrontation with Philadelphia 76ers teammate Joel Embiid. During the MSG Network broadcast of the 76ers preseason opener against the New York Knicks, Breen claimed James had reprimanded Embiid for arriving late to practice. James directly denied the report via his personal Instagram account.

While Embiid had faced previous scrutiny regarding his punctuality in prior seasons, reports indicate he is healthy and in peak condition ahead of the 2026-27 campaign. James moved quickly on social media to shut down the rumor and defend his new teammate from inaccurate reporting.
