It appears that NBA team owners are choosing the good side of Pablo Torre’s radar. But now the Pulitzer-winning journalist and podcaster has a new billionaire target. He just confirmed that he is actively investigating the endorsement mechanics behind 76ers…

Journalist Pablo Torre confirmed he is actively investigating the endorsement deal behind LeBron James using a Fanatics-branded corporate helicopter to commute between New York City and Philadelphia. Speaking at a Front Office Sports event, Torre revealed that rival NBA franchise owners are reaching out to him with tips, questioning if the arrangement crosses competitive lines or involves salary cap circumvention.
James signed an aviation clause as part of a multi-year memorabilia deal with Michael Rubin's Fanatics in January 2024. The flights commute James between Manhattan and the Philadelphia 76ers' Camden facilities, cutting travel to 30 minutes following his July signing of a two-year, $8 million contract with Philadelphia.
