Jordan Goodwin is one of the most underrated players in the NBA

Writer Brandon Duenas argues that Phoenix Suns guard Jordan Goodwin is one of the NBA's most underrated players and deserves All-Defensive team recognition. After winning a roster spot over Jared Butler ahead of the 2025-26 season, Goodwin signed a three-year, $19 million contract extension with Phoenix in June 2026. Duenas asserts that Goodwin's effort and defensive impact rival Dillon Brooks in transforming the team's culture.

The article highlights Goodwin's remarkable production, noting he recorded nine steals and nine rebounds across just 27 minutes in recent games against Detroit and Chicago. Last season, Goodwin led the Suns with 106 steals and ranked second on the team with 136 offensive rebounds, leading Duenas to praise his rebounding prowess and developing offensive game as a major bargain for Phoenix.
